Monster Magazine mini.

This object was created to honor one of the greatest makeup effects artists of all time. He told a story on my favorite podcast about seeing this copy of Famous Monsters on a rack in his local grocery store in 1959. He asked his mom if he could get one but she said it was too expensive. Thirty five cents was a lot back then. After a few days of begging, his mom could tell that it was really important so she scraped together the thirty five cents and got it for him. Many years later he would go on to win 7 Academy awards for makeup effects.

We worked together recently and when I found out I was going to get to meet him, I put this together. It turned out so well that I decided to make a few more.
